Headphones is a short film about alternate realities by A Graham with D Miah.
My work with young people aged 16-19 in film and animation explores how the direct communication of the voice and the power of the still or moving image can project and magnify the expression of ideas for this age group. Since 2014 my students have won 15 awards for their filmmaking, an example of the achievements possible for young people who have fallen through the gaps in the education system but who have found creative drive and self-belief through this medium. Together we work on content that addresses issues for young people, from a personal-political viewpoint.
